WHISTLER, BC , March 19 2007 -- Hipsters, pimped-out snowriders, and own-the-floor DJs are hanging it all on one magic word these days : “deck”. The Urban Dictionary offers a host of definitions:

▫        adj: When a man is wearing very nice clothes, or the latest fashions (pimp clothes) and is matching perfectly;
▫        n: The wood panel for a skate or snow board which the person stands upon;
▫        n: Turntables for vinyl records. DJs couldn't live without their decks. (Technics 1210s for preference.);
▫        adj: describing something high up on your cool pole;
▫        adj: A key word for most Hipsters, similar in meaning to the antiquated fresh. To be deck is to be up on the latest trends, cutting edge, and/or hip.

Whistler from April 13-22 2007 is the confluence for all things “decked out”, melding snowboarders and skiers, big-name DJs, the latest fashions and the cuspiest vibes, during 10 days and nights of epic partying.

And the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival will fully deck out one lucky winner and friend, this April.
