Bruce Sweeney –Writer/Director
His 1st picture Live Bait won
the City TV prize for Best Canadian Film at the 1995 Toronto
International Film Festival. His 2 nd feature Dirty screened
at Sundance Film Festival and The Berlin Film Festival and
at The Vancouver International Film Festival in 1998. His
3 rd film Last Wedding was chosen
as the opening night film for the Toronto International film
festival in 2001.

Glen Schaefer – Film Reviewer –
The Province
Glen Schaefer writes about film for The Province newspaper,
and skis at Whistler when he can. His favourite movie skiing
moment is when James Bond skis off a cliff and his British-flag
parachute opens at the beginning of The Spy Who Loved Me.

Terry David Mulligan – Television Host
Recently inducted into the BC Entertainment
Hall of Fame and the upcoming co-host of a new TV show, co-created
with Jason Priestley, Hollywood and Vines, Terry
David Mulligan wears many hats. Born in New Westminister, Terry
was raised in North Vancouver and Kamloops and was a Mountie
in Olds and Red Deer, Alberta from 1960 - 1964. He discovered
rock 'n roll at local radio station CKRD and spent the next
two decades as a radio DJ at such stations as CFUN and CHUM
and programmed Canada's first underground FM Station, CKLG/FM,
now CFOX. Terry hosted CBC Radio's rock magazine Great Canadian
Goldrush for 8 years (1972 - 1980); a syndicated national radio
show Discumentary; and CBC's first network video show Good
Rockin' Tonight. He joined the MuchMusic team in 1985 and is
now co-host of Citytv's "MT-MovieTelevision" and
producer/interviewer for MuchMusic. He joined "Startv" as
Senior Segment Producer in September, 1998.

Kevin Eastwood - Television Producer
Kevin Eastwood is a Vancouver-based film and television producer. He recently
co-produced the 1950’s era zombie flick, Fido (currently playing
in theatres right now) directed by Andrew Currie and starring Carrie-Anne Moss,
Billy Connolly, Dylan Baker, and Tim Blake Nelson. In 2004, Kevin produced
the parking enforcement comedy The Delicate Art of Parking , directed
by Trent Carlson, and before that was a producer on Andrew Currie’s first
feature, the critically acclaimed kidnapping drama Mile Zero . On
the small screen, Kevin’s producer credits include the CBC Television series This
Space For Rent , and the upcoming CTV movie Elijah , about Canadian
first nations leader, Elijah Harper. In addition to his work in features and
television, Kevin has also produced and/or directed numerous short films, including “Rugged
Rich and the Ona Ona” for CBC Television, the award-winning “Dents
in the Sky”, and the tongue-in-cheek “In your face, Iceland!” national
TV spot for the David Suzuki Foundation. |

Nick Lea – Actor
Nick has been a part of the Canadian
and U.S. film and television community for over 20 years.
While best known for his 7 seasons on the international
hit The X Files, Nick has built a large body of work that
includes (T.V.) recurring roles on CSI, NYPD Blue and most
recently Men In Trees. Film roles include Vertical Limit,
Butterfly On A Wheel, Vice and the upcoming American Venus
(directed and written by controversial genius / world famous
filmmaker, Bruce Sweeney) Nick is honoured to be
a part of the festival. |
